For more than 30 years the business unit Thöni Environmental Engineering has been developing and building biogas plants to produce bioenergy from organic waste and agricultural by-products as well as waste treatment plants. Thöni provides tailored solutions with capabilities in both wet and dry anaerobic digestion systems. From consulting support to the planning process, designing, manufacturing, through construction, commissioning and after-sales, Thöni offers a complete range of services from one single source. Further to that, process-relevant system components are manufactured in the company's in-house metal manufacturing facility. Currently there are more than 150 Thöni AD plants in operation in different European countries as well as in China.
