Thornton Park District is Orlando’s uniquely inclusive and charming Main Street District, offering up local color and culture, from shopping to dining and entertainment to relaxation. Located in Downtown Orlando, we cultivate an inviting atmosphere and support our fellow businesses and neighbors. Our commitment to Thornton Park District’s walkability, safety, charm, and distinctive offerings makes us a premier destination.

We host a variety of events, including the TPD Night Market, and actively work to enhance the area’s appeal as a highly desirable main street district. The Thornton Park District Main Street program is made possible through the interests, efforts and generosity of The National Trust Main Street Center, the City of Orlando, and our business members and community volunteers.

As a Main Street America™ Accredited program, we are dedicated to preserving and revitalizing our historic district, attracting new residents and businesses, and fostering a vibrant community for all. We’ve been making positive changes since 2012, and continue to build on our success as a leading program within the national network of Main Street communities.
