Threshold Clubhouse is a leading, recovery-oriented community organization based in Durham, North Carolina, dedicated to empowering adults living with serious mental illness.

For nearly 40 years, Threshold Clubhouse has provided a supportive environment where members gain meaningful work opportunities, build strong relationships, and cultivate a sense of purpose. We offer structured programs, including Work-Ordered Day, Clerical Unit, Career Services Unit, and Culinary Unit, all designed to foster personal growth and independence.

What distinguishes Threshold is our commitment to the gold standard Clubhouse Model, guaranteeing members a place to come, meaningful work, meaningful relationships, and a place to return. We are proud to be a vital resource for the Durham community, promoting mental health awareness and fostering a culture of acceptance and support. We are currently participating in Clubhouse Giving Day, a global campaign to raise $20,000 to support our programming and care coordination.
