Tokai Carbon is a global leader of carbon materials, commencing operations as a pioneer in the industry in 1918. Tokai Carbon Italia is the European representative of our sister company Tokai Konetsu Kogyo of Japan manufacturers of Silicon Carbide heating elements, Silicon Nitride Ceramic high temperature products, and Ceramic Resistors. Tokai Carbon's sister company Tokai Konetsu Kogyo Co., Ltd. (TKK), began operations with silicon carbide heating element products in Japan in 1936 and it obtained a leading market position in the furnace and other related ceramic products industry. In 1997, TKK established Shanghai TOKAI KONETSU Co., Ltd. (STK), in China as part of its international deployment. Our electric heating system products, technical support, and excellent customer after sales services contribute to our customers' productivity, reliability and cost efficiency while often reducing the environmental impact in a wide variety of industry segments.
