TrendNow is a platform for social media promotion initially available for Instagram. TrendNow lets users create cash bounties for a post mentioning their brand or product. The person whose post gets the most Likes wins the cash prize. This user can then withdraw the cash from the app, or reinvest it and make a bounty of their own. There is no risk for the bounty creators because if no one reaches their desired number of Likes, they don’t pay out the prize. However, they still get the benefit of a bunch of people posting about them. It is monetized by taking a 10% fee from the winner’s prize money only when it is withdrawn.
