Triangle Land Conservancy

Triangle Land Conservancy is a nonprofit organization based in Durham, North Carolina, dedicated to protecting North Carolina’s natural resources.

For over 40 years, we’ve been working to safeguard clean water, protect vital habitats, and connect people with nature through land conservation. We manage six nature preserves open to the public year-round, offering a unique opportunity for outdoor recreation and education.

Triangle Land Conservancy distinguishes itself through a long-standing commitment to community engagement and collaborative conservation efforts. We work closely with landowners, local governments, and community groups to achieve lasting conservation outcomes. Our work supports local farms and food systems, ensuring a sustainable future for the Triangle region.

Founded in 1983, we’ve conserved over 26,000 acres of land and welcomed over 120,000 visitors to our preserves. We are a trusted partner in preserving the wild and working lands of North Carolina.
