TripWoman

TripWoman started as an idea in 2017 but it is long time that groups and communities only for women travelers exist. In them, we can see the ever increasing cooperation and will to help each other and how we encourage and support other women to achieve their goals. Once the backpack full of dreams, we spread the project in March 2018 with a video that reached more than 30,000 views in 2 weeks and a community of nearly 2,000 followers in the social media accounts. The beta version for android was launched in the middle of July 2018 and until now there are more than 1.000 users. iOs version was launched in January 2019 with really great reviews. TripWoman is a female traveler community willing to help each other and exchange tips, experiences and accommodation. TripWoman will encourage women OF ALL AGES to travel and minimize their fear of possible complications. Based on the concepts of sisterhood and women-only-spaces, we will create a feminine protection barrier around the world: women that travel or want to travel alone, women that are afraid of not speaking the language, moms travelers, etc. On TripWoman you can find chats/forums in your language to speak with other women travelers before or after the trip, ask questions, get some tips/recommendations, meet other women, or simply share experiences. The languages we speak and the city we live in will be saved on our profiles to make easier the communication between us. Not to mention that only registered users can see the shared information and users profiles.
