TURTLES FLY TOO

Turtles Fly Too is a nonprofit organization based in Boise, Idaho, dedicated to coordinating and facilitating critical relocation efforts for endangered species, particularly sea turtles, through the generous support of general aviation pilots – known as ‘Turtle Fliers’. We partner with leading organizations like NOAA and the USFWS to provide essential air transportation for animals facing threats such as cold stuns or entanglement, significantly reducing stress and improving their chances of recovery. Through our educational programs, we educate students and other non-profit organizations about the vital role of general aviation in conservation, offering hands-on experiences with preserved specimens. Our mission is to ‘Rescue. Rewild. Repeat.’ – acting as a specialized transportation network for endangered species, ensuring their survival and contributing to the preservation of vulnerable populations. We specialize in the rescue and rehabilitation of sea turtles, sea lions, seals, and other endangered animals, utilizing rapid transport to deliver them to optimal care facilities.
