Union Gospel Mission

Union Gospel Mission of the Inland Northwest is a dedicated nonprofit organization providing comprehensive support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Spokane, Washington, and surrounding areas. Established in 1951, we offer a holistic approach to recovery, addressing not only immediate needs like shelter and food but also tackling the root causes of homelessness through life recovery programs, job training, and spiritual guidance. Our commitment extends to serving men, women, and children, offering a pathway to stability and lasting change.

With a network of shelters, recovery programs, thrift stores, and a UGM Motors enterprise, we’ve grown to serve over 1,870 volunteers, 1,104 monthly givers, and 19,671 active financial partners, delivering 1870 meals, 1104 nights of shelter, 19671 medical visits, 1870 individuals entered recovery, 1870 jobs obtained, and 1870 individuals heard the gospel. We are a faith-based organization rooted in the belief that every person is created in the image of God and deserves a chance at a fulfilling life.
