University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola University of Bitola, known by the acronym of UKLO, is the second established state university in the Republic of N. Macedonia, the most significant institution in the field of higher education in the region of Southwestern Macedonia. The specific heterogeneous, study offer of the University which covers various research disciplines and educates professionals compatible with the requirements of the contemporary labor market is represented by: 49 first-cycle study programs, 60 second-cycle study programs, of which 51 academic and 9 professional, and 22 third-cycle study programs (doctoral studies) distributed in 12 units: ten faculties, one higher professional school and one research institute.
