UpSurgeOn is a MedTech company that helps surgeons, scientific institutions and medical device companies worldwide to boost the transition to cadaver-free training thanks to a series of disruptive technologies: life-like simulations, virtual/mixed reality, data collection and AI. The technologies are currently focused on microsurgeries (neurosurgery, plastic surgery, ENT surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and spine surgery) and the company is scaling up to several other surgical disciplines. The team is built by surgeons, digital developers, 3D artists, engineers, manufacturers, simulation artists, designers and business developers. UpSurgeOn was founded in 2017 by two neurosurgeons, Dr. Federico Nicolosi (Founder and CEO) and Dr. Giannantonio Spena (Co-founder) and is headquartered in Milan, Italy with a second branch in the US (Delaware). UpSurgeOn's technologies are available in 99 countries today. The network of users includes more than 300 scientific institutions and more than 100 medtech companies worldwide.
