Verinetics is a Research Triangle Park, North Carolina-based medical device company dedicated to improving access to medication for individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD). We provide innovative technology solutions, including the DispenSecur™ system, to foster trust between patients and providers and enhance medication management.

DispenSecur™ is a Class I Medical Device listed with the Food and Drug Administration, intended for medical purposes to provide alerts and controlled patient access to medication based on dosing schedules predetermined by a healthcare provider. The device may be used with either liquid or solid dosage forms of one medication type.

Our commitment is to address the significant gap in OUD treatment, where only 25% of those diagnosed receive FDA-approved medications, and to reduce the barriers to recovery, such as social stigma, limited clinic hours, and high costs. We are enabling new roads to substance use disorder recovery and prevention, supporting the overall healthcare ecosystem in a societal quest to prevent future challenges for our communities.

Verinetics is led by a team with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, including a former practicing pharmacist, ensuring a deep understanding of the complexities of OUD treatment and management.
