SRM Solar is owned and managed by the team that founded the building energy and sustainability specialists, Stroma Group, over twenty years ago. In 2010 they set up their solar PV subsidiary Stroma Energy, which grew rapidly in line with the UK market overall, completing hundreds of domestic and commercial PV installations across the UK. In 2014, the founders sold a controlling stake in Stroma to LDC, and as part of this transaction, carved out and retained the solar PV assets and business. At this juncture, SRM Solar was incorporated to take their solar PV interests forward. Based in West Yorkshire, and part of the Mysing Group, SRM Solar is staffed by experienced renewables experts offering design, supply, installation, and servicing of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems. The Team has been installing large PV systems on commercial buildings, such as offices, factories, and warehouses, using Grade A products from Tier 1 manufacturers for over a decade. Furthermore, we have significant experience with regulatory compliance practices and can help navigate third-party involvement, often involving consultants, finance providers, DNO, and local authorities.
