VOA Alaska

VOA Alaska is an Anchorage, Alaska-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive mental, emotional, and behavioral healthcare and support services to youth and their families at low or no cost. We address critical needs through a range of programs, including outpatient behavioral health, substance use counseling, telehealth, residential treatment, and family services.

Our mission is to empower Alaska’s youth, young adults, and families by offering strength-based, person-centered care that promotes wellness across all aspects of their lives. We operate within schools, communities, and statewide via telehealth, ensuring accessibility for all Alaskans.

As a non-profit, we are committed to removing barriers to care and ensuring that no one is turned away due to financial constraints. We partner with community organizations and leaders to advocate for policy changes and address youth substance use through initiatives like the Anchorage Adolescent Substance Misuse Prevention Coalition.

VOA Alaska’s impact extends to providing housing for vulnerable young adults, strengthening families through support services, and fostering hope through programs like the annual Shoebox Project, bringing joy and connection to youth across the state.
