Volunteers of America Upstate New York is a leading non-profit human services agency dedicated to creating lasting change in the Rochester, New York community and beyond. We provide comprehensive solutions to poverty, homelessness, and educational disparities through a range of impactful programs, including housing services, childcare, and reentry support. Our mission is to restore hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging for individuals and families facing challenging circumstances. With a history of service dating back to 1896, we address the root causes of inequality and foster self-reliance and stability, empowering our clients to build brighter futures. Currently, we operate The Farm, a hydroponic farm providing fresh produce to those in need, and offer Residential Reentry programs to support successful transitions after incarceration. We are committed to serving over 5,000 people annually, reflecting our significant impact on the region.
