Wastewater Alternatives, LC is a company I founded in 2003 to provide specialized wastewater management consulting services to clients in both public and private sectors. The founding principle of this endeavor was to provide clients with thoughtful and independent analysis of wastewater and stormwater management and permitting scenarios, stormwater and wastewater treatment and effluent discharge or reuse alternatives, including the design, permitting and construction services required to implement effective water resource protection plans. I have always believed in taking a sustainable approach to solving wastewater and stormwater management problems and prioritized water conservation while minimizing nutrient and energy footprints of systems that sustainably protect public health and our water resources. My designs include water reuse and composting toilets for water conservation and ecological treatment systems such as constructed subsurface and floating treatment wetlands, bioswales and rain gardens as natural pathways to protecting and remediating our water resources. To further this commitment Wastewater Alternatives now offers design and construction services for stream bank protection, wetland and habitat restoration and shoreline protection through our strategic alignment with ECOSOLUTIONS of Westford, Vermont.
