Weiland's Gourmet Market was founded in 1961 by John Williams and George Weiland. It started as an Old Fashion Meat Market for central Ohioans to purchase the highest quality products and receive the best customer service. John was joined by Tim Teegardin and Dave Friend in 1983 to continue the success and expand the store and its services. Success continued under their leadership and brought the expansion to the new location in August of 1999, where it is still strong and growing. Our mission statement is plain and simple, "to provide our customers with high quality meat, seafood, and products in order to provide the best customer service." Since 1961 we have offered the freshest beef, chicken, pork & seafood in the area, locally grown produce, an extensive selection of wine, liquor and beer and a host of other new and exciting products. Weiland's catering department offers exceptional food with exceptional service. From political events to backyard barbecues, from corporate events to wedding receptions, Weiland's Gourmet Catering has food for every occasion and palate. Our catering team is experienced at planning, cooking, and serving at your special event. Weiland's has had its roots in Clintonville since its inception and has been a big supporter of its chamber and community events. Weiland's customers that have moved from the area still come back and enjoy the personal touch that we offer. For many, we are on a first name basis not only with them, but their kids as well. Weiland's reputation extends down into the generations and we hear all of the time how their parents or grandparents shopped here.
