Western Balkan Startup Alliance

Western Balkans Startup Alliance is a network of professional hubs form the Western Balkan region that serve the local startup community, develop existing networks of investors and contribute to building local ecosystems. Our initiative will facilitate on-going attempts by the community to support people that use innovative business as drivers for regional economic, social, and sustainable development. Our key objectives are: Regional connectedness: Strengthen the exchange of knowledge and experience between start-up support organizations and other stakeholders on the Western Balkans Joined forces: Work jointly on existing challenges in the start-up domain in the region and bring forth new solutions and opportunities to the ecosystems Promote the region: Develop concepts to promote the ecosystems in the region with one voice towards interested stakeholders like founders, investors or the tech diaspora. WBSA is eager to connect the region and use the joint knowledge and experience of the start-ups as the cohesive force for creating new solutions for the common challenges. We see the regional playground as an opportunity to grow faster, and therefore we want to develop one voice concepts which will show our capabilities to interested stakeholders, founders, investors or the tech diaspora. This will give members the opportunity to engage with clients and partners and faster reach different markets.
