WGVU is West Michigan’s trusted public media station, delivering NPR and PBS programming to communities across Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Muskegon, and the surrounding region. As a service of Grand Valley State University, we connect with audiences through a diverse range of local and national content, including news, documentaries, children’s programming, and cultural events. We’re dedicated to fostering lifelong learning, informed citizenship, and community engagement. WGVU’s broadcast stations, operating from the Meijer Public Broadcast Center, serve as a vital resource for education, entertainment, and civic dialogue, leveraging the strengths of public media to inform, inspire, and entertain.
