For over five decades, we’ve been providing unforgettable experiences in the Brooks Range, a vast and rarely visited wilderness area above the Arctic Circle. Our experienced guides, many of whom are local Alaskans, lead small, personalized trips focused on wildlife observation and natural history, offering a unique perspective on the Arctic ecosystem.

Founded by Bob Waldrop and Deb Vogt, Wilderness Alaska began as a pioneering venture exploring uncharted territory, mirroring the spirit of early explorers.
