Wooden Roots Limited

Wooden Roots is now located in England, however it was started in Los Angeles in the USA in 2007. My name is Marcus Brown and with my wife, Gemma we started the business in cracks of time whilst working full time jobs in corporate America.   In 2018 we decided to move back to the UK, our homeland, where we have continued our journey and in doing so it has allowed both myself and Gemma to both work full time & together in the business. We pride ourselves in sourcing the world’s best djembe shells, instruments and materials (all from West Africa). Some say, we are the "Harrods" of the Djembe world, however we have drums to suit all budgets and levels. We love making and selling drums to people who share our passion and we find it very rewarding.   Our business model is about introducing people to the culture and watching them grow and learn within it. We have created a fun & relaxed community hub at Wooden Roots in Suffolk, UK.  We offer a lifestyle for our community of drummers with quality drums, branded merchandise and accessories. At Wooden Roots we have regular weekly drum classes. We also work with our local community groups and local businesses to bring groups of people together through drumming.
