Worcester Refugee Assistance Project (WRAP)

Worcester Refugee Assistance Project (WRAP) is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Worcester, Massachusetts, providing vital support to refugees and newly resettled migrants. We empower these individuals to achieve sustainable self-reliance through comprehensive mentoring, advocacy, and educational assistance programs. Established in response to the Burmese refugee resettlement, WRAP has grown to serve a diverse community of refugees, including the Afghan population, collaborating with local organizations like the Worcester Together initiative. Our team of volunteers, drawn from local schools, universities, and UMass Medical School, works tirelessly to bridge gaps in support and foster a welcoming environment for newcomers.
