World Trade Center Los Angeles

The World Trade Center Los Angeles (WTCLA) is a non-profit organization that serves as the nexus for Los Angeles and the global economy since 1988, facilitating international trade and investment throughout the region. As a subsidiary of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC), WTCLA has longstanding partnerships with public and private entities to promote inclusive economic growth and attract sustainable jobs to the region. WTCLA Programming is based on three core tenets: 1) Investment Attraction - Attract companies from around the world by serving as international delegations’ first point of entry into the LA market, and connecting international companies with local service providers and businesses with relevant expertise (e.g. legal, insurance, etc.) to pursue trade and investment endeavors in LA. 2) Trade Promotion - Engage local organizations, governments, accelerators, and other stakeholders on the importance of international trade for the LA economy. Assist companies across LA to learn more about export opportunities and support to increase access to global markets. 3) International Engagement - Represent the voice of the Los Angeles economy on the global stage as a critical stakeholder in the international economy. Cultivate long-term partnerships with international businesses, government offices, partner organizations and the Los Angeles Consular Corps, the 3rd largest in the world after New York and Hong Kong.
