YOGA FORWARD INC

Yoga Forward Inc. is a Salt Lake City, Utah-based nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to the healing benefits of yoga and mindfulness, particularly for underserved communities. We bring trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness training to incarcerated women and men at Utah State Correctional Facility, school children, teachers, and individuals within organizations serving BIPOC and LGBTQ+ populations.

Through our community service outreach program, we provide specialized training, including Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Mindfulness Training Workshops, empowering individuals to foster rehabilitation, improve mental health, and cultivate self-awareness. Yoga Forward serves as a hub for the Yoga Assets Teacher Training community, supporting over 1000 members and facilitating over 13,000 hours of Yoga Service annually, with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
