IN THE 70’S, COSTAS LAZARIDIS strongly believed that not only could his homeland produce high quality wines deserving of a place on the world stage, but that in due time, Drama could eventually be crowned a “City of Wine”. In 1979, in Xiropotamos, a village situated on the slopes of Mount Falakro, Costas Lazaridis founded the first modern linear vineyard in Drama and later he built the only, at the time, modern winery in the region. After starting with a small 10-hectare vineyard, we now manage 300 hectares of private vineyards with the finest Greek and International grape varieties. The vineyards of the Estate can be found in 4 different locations around Drama: Adriani, Kali Vrisi, Katafyto and Platania, with each location possessing unique characteristics. Consequently, we take advantage of the versatile-multifaceted terroir of each area. Our vines are grown according to sustainable farming standards and all grapes are vinified in the modern facilities of our Estate. Apart from our Estate in Drama, in 2005, Costas Lazaridis also created a second winery in Kapandriti-Attica named Oenotria Land, which includes a 20-hectare vineyard and the unique “Costa Lazaridis Wine Museum”.

GEO-SPIRULINA NIGRITAS Ltd was established in early 2012, so it is a new business structure in Nigrita Serres, but with long history: In the location and settlements used by GEO-SPIRULINA Ltd, high quality spirulina was produced for over 20 years until now. GEO-SPIRULINA Ltd is indeed the first producer of spirulina in Greece, who created the knowledge and demand that exists in Greece for this product. GEO-SPIRULINA NIGRTITAS Ltd has invested significant money and know-how in production facility until now, aiming to the significant increase in production volumes, by prolonging the productive period (from 5 to 12 months), by making better use of natural geothermal energy in the location and also by creating new growth pools for spirulina. Along as the quantitative increase, rationalization of the production process takes place and the stabilization/optimization of quality control procedures too. Spirulina Nigrita is certified as particularly high quality globally, due to the combination of specific geo-climatic conditions of the area (sunshine, geothermy) with superior facilities, since the production pools are closed (Greenhouses), contrary to the dominant international practice of open pools.

The winery Olympia Land Estate is located in a small village, Koskina, only two kilometers from the heart of Ancient Olympia. In the place where our ancestors 150 years ago began the cultivation of raisins and olive trees. Nowdays Olympia Land Estate is a family winery that began to produce small quantities of quality wines in the early 2000, and since 2008 creates the modern winery of the estate. Following the family’s tradition at the blessed and sacred place of Olympia, the birthplace of civilization and Olympic Games. Once upon a time the ancient Greek people of Olympia made wines and organised symposiums, today the wine production of the estate is inspired at that time’s mores and traditions.

OMIROS is a dairy products industry operating in Trikala, Thessaly. OMIROS was founded by the Giannitsi family in 1984 and was named after the Ancient Greek poet Homer (Omiros in Greek), who made the earliest reference to the cheese we now call “FETA” in the text of his “Odyssey”. According to the legend, Polyphemus the Cyclops became the first cheesemaker when he accidentally discovered that the milk he had been storing in sheepskin bags would clot and become edible. That is how the production of feta cheese began in Ancient Greece. The family has been producing cheese products of exceptional taste and quality for five generations. The production of OMIROS products is based on traditional techniques of the local cheese makers, while the authenticity of their taste is hard to find these days. In the 35 years of its operation, OMIROS dairy products industry has managed to surpass the limits of a small family business and follow a sustainable and successful growth path, securing a prominent and well-deserved position in the dairy sector in Greece and abroad. The milk zone department is responsible for the receiving of the milk and all the necessary actions to be done for its safe and in time collection. Annual quantity of incoming milk is 40,000 tonnes of sheep’s & goat’s milk and 7,000 tonnes of cow’s milk. Processing capability of 200 tonnes daily Milk transport fleet is 24 privately owned isolated milk tanker trucks. We are constantly improving our fleet with the latest technology and modern equipment in order to match our needs. Lyrarakis Wines is a family-owned winery, established in 1966 on the island of Crete, Greece. During these five decades, our family has devoted itself to the revival of indigenous, almost extinct, grape varieties of Crete like Dafni, Plyto, Melissaki and others, vinificating wines that highlight their distinctive character. The vision of Lyrarakis Winery is reflected in our logo. The rows and perspective of a vineyard form the Greek letter “Λ” (lambda), which is the initial of the family’s name. Protofanousi Fruits SA has been specializing in the sale of fruit since 1928. Today, the company is one of the largest exporters in Northern Greece, with an annual turnover of 23 million euros handling about 30 million kilos of fruit per year, mostly of Greek origin, but with some kinds of fruit imported from Argentina, Germany, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Turkey and Chile. It exports to European countries, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and Canada and also supplies products directly to large supermarket chains in Greece. Protofanousis Fruits SA employs 30 permanent staff and up to 150 staff according to the season. It maintains refrigerated storage facilities and packing plants in Thessaloniki with a total area of 7,500 sq.m., Controlled Atmosphere refrigerators in Nea Ephesοs, Katerini, with a capacity of 8,000 tons, a distribution center in Thessaloniki's central vegetable market, and a warehouse-precooler in Kerasia. All procedures followed in cultivation, sorting, packing and distribution have a single goal, the production of standardized, high-quality, safe products to meet the high standards of the company as well as to comply with national and European regulations

Το 1948 ιδρύθηκε στον Πλάτανο ένας μικρός φούρνος από τον Χαρίτο Τσατσαρωνάκη, ο οποίος έδωσε την εμπορική ονομασία «το Μάννα» στην επιχείρηση. Τα πρώτα χρόνια η επιχείρηση αυτή κάλυπτε τις ανάγκες του Πλατάνου και των γύρω χωριών σε ψωμί, μέχρι που μπήκαν στην επιχείρηση ο γιος του Νίκος, με την γυναίκα του Μαρία οι οποίοι είχαν και την ιδέα της παραγωγής του κριθαρένιου παξιμαδιού. Ξεκίνησαν το 1963 την πώληση παξιμαδιών στα Χανιά και μετά ακολούθησε και η Αθήνα. Το στοίχημα αυτής της μεγάλης προσπάθειας της δεκαετίας του '60, ήταν να γνωρίσει ο κόσμος τη διατροφική αξία του κρητικού παξιμαδιού. Η επίτευξη αυτού του στόχου έφερε αύξηση πωλήσεων και κατά συνέπεια της επιχείρησης, η οποία μετά από τέσσερις διαδοχικές επεκτάσεις μετέτρεψε τις παραγωγικές εγκαταστάσεις σε μία μεγάλη μονάδα παραγωγής αρτοσκευασμάτων όπου παράγονται 53 διαφορετικά προϊόντα. Tselepos Wines is a 30 year old Greek family winery producing high quality wines in Peloponnese and Santorini. We focus on the indigenous varieties: moschofilero, assyrtiko and agiorgitiko, to discover their potential in each microclimate (terroir). «Good wines are produced in the winery but fine wines are made in the vineyard”, this is the moto of the owner and winemaker Yiannis Tselepos. Thus, we invest in 65 hectares of a privately-owned vineyard, setting as our main priority the quality of the grapes and care of the vineyard. We respect the tradition and the use of technology for the improvement of the wine quality. Vineyard practices are mainly done manually but we also apply “precision viticulture” (e.g. the use of drone for vineyard mapping).We use cutting edge oenological equipment and experiment with aging vessels like: stainless tanks, french oak barrels, wooden tanks, clay amphorae and concrete wine eggs. Our philosophy is that we do mild interventions in the wine, when they are essential.
