Creta Oil Botzakis S.A. , was founded in 1986 in Crete, a famous land for its high quality extra virgin olive oil. Creta oil by Botzakis collects Koroneiki variety olives from the surrounding area of Peza, and from strictly selected regions of Crete, from local producers, with the same methods of cultivation and harvesting.
Today, the company has one of the most modern and integrated plants at the central area of Crete, which includes two olive oil mills, four full automatic bottling product lines with a production capacity of 10.500 bottles daily. There, Georgios Argyrakis, horse trader, following the local traditional practices, made a remarkable wine in his own estate. After the Great fire of Smyrna in 1922, the family moved in Thessaloniki, Greece. The grandson, Giorgos Argyrakis, continues family’s wine tradition and after a great career, as leading Oenologist, in Boutaris S.A., a famous wine industry, established Argyrakis Wines in 1997.

ELBAK was established in 1971 at the heart of the Greek agricultural center – Larissa at the foothill of Mount Olympus. Its main active role is in the field of fruits processing and canning. The fruits are processed in less than 24 hours after harvesting and are “hand picked”. These are yellow cling stone peaches, apricots, pear, cherries and other red fruits. They are pasteurized and hermetically sealed in glass jar or metal cans.

To optimise our all-natural produce we rely on our laboratory for soil, water and plant tissue analysis to monitor the exact balance of micronutrients we need.
Our estate at Epanomi, in northern Greece, is an excellent terroir for herbal plants. To intervene when only necessary, we regularly collect precious data on precipitation, air temperature, humidity, and temperatures from our weather station on site.
Our spreaders and cultivators are GPS equipped to allow for precision when and where we need to enhance the natural fertility or humidity of the soil. Our agronomists’ mantra is The wise need less for more.

Πρωτοποριακά σκεπτόμενοι, το 2005 παρουσιάσαμε πρώτοι στην ελληνική αγορά τα συσκευασμένα φρέσκα μυρωδικά για την κουζίνα – σε γλαστράκι και κομμένο –, χρησιμοποιώντας εξειδικευμένες και καλαίσθητες συσκευασίες, και προτρέψαμε τον Έλληνα καταναλωτή να τα χρησιμοποιεί καθημερινά στη μαγειρική του, προσφέροντάς του επώνυμα προϊόντα, ασφαλή και με υψηλές προδιαγραφές. Σήμερα, έχουμε αναπτύξει ένα ισχυρό δίκτυο συνεργασίας, με αλυσίδες σούπερ μάρκετ και μίνι μάρκετ, καθώς και με επιλεγμένα μανάβικα, παντοπωλεία και deli, σε όλη την Ελλάδα.

The Greek Canners Association (ΕΚΕ) was founded in 1996. Its aim was to represent business organizations that produced canned fruits (mainly peach, but also pear, apricot and fruit cocktail).
Today, the company represents 17 organizations that produce not only canned fruits as mentioned before, but also peach and apricot puree and frozen fruits. Most of the facilities are located in the prefectures of Pella, Imathia and Larissa. Fruits are sourced from the prefectures of Pella, Imathia, Florina, Pieria, Larissa, Argolida and Korinthia. More than 12.000 families of farmers produce these fruits, while more than 10.000 work in the factories, whether full-time or seasonally.
The final products of our members are almost all exported (more than 98%). This results in annual income of 300.000.000€ – 400.000.000€ for Greece.
Greece continually ranks first in the list of canned peach exporting countries worldwide.
EKE is a very active member of PROFEL, the European Association of fruit and vegetable processors and has been representing Greece in the World Canned Deciduous Fruit Conference since 1996.

The Koundourakis brothers' company, having as its values the quality, consistency, creativity and passion for progress and development, began in 1994 in Mires, in the prefecture of Heraklion, a brewery and confectionery unit. Two years later he founded his first retail stores: ever since, it has grown and now has four stores and a franchise.
In the year 2000, in the context of the continuous development and improvement of the quality of its products, the company started the implementation of a standard unit
production, aiming at stable quality for good bread, pastries, pastries and ice cream.

παραγωγής, με στόχο την σταθερή ποιότητα για το καλό ψωμί, τα βουτήματα, τα γλυκίσματα και το παγωτό.
Η εταιρία πάντοτε με πνεύμα καινοτομίας και ανάπτυξης, μετά από συνεχή έρευνα στις ευρωπαϊκές αγορές, πρωτοπορεί και εισέρχεται και σε νέες κατηγορίες, στον χώρου του σούπερ μάρκετ με συσκευασμένο φρέσκο ψωμί, ψωμί του τοστ και συσκευασμένων εκλεκτών αρτοσκευασμάτων για να καλύψει τις ανάγκες του
καταναλωτή. Αποκτά ένα ιδιόκτητο στόλο αυτοκινήτων καταφέρνοντας έτσι για πρώτη φορά να διακινείται σε όλο το νησί λίγες μόνο ώρες μετά την παραγωγή του
και με όλες τις απαραίτητες διαδικασίες της σωστής διακίνησης και μεταφοράς. Έτσι ανταγωνίζεται πλέον τις πολυεθνικές εταιρίες του κλάδου των συσκευασμένων
αρτοσκευασμάτων.

It is active in the storage, processing, packaging and marketing of kiwi fruits.
The company’s facilities are located in the center of the fertile lowlands of Kavala in the North-East of Greece. It is the region where the delta of the Nestos river debouches into the Aegean Sea.
