Assim, o projeto COAST4US pretende desenvolver um estudo que valide e estabeleça o COAST – software de analise de custo-benefício de intervenções costeiras – como uma ferramenta de referencia no plano nacional e internacional. Para tal, o COAST será aplicado a diversos trechos do litoral português que enfrentam problemas de erosão costeira, contribuindo não só para uma melhor gestão costeira futura, como um contributo fundamental na gestão costeira do presente. Mecânica Exacta, S.A. was founded in 1947 on the outskirts of Porto, the second largest city in Portugal. The company is currently based in S. Paio de Oleiros, where the founders in the 1960s built a new production plant and offices in a total area of ​​24,000 m2, of which 12,000 m2 are covered. Mecânica Exacta, S.A. employs about 80 members of staff. Mecânica Exacta, S.A.'s focus is the design and production of complete lines for sheet metal forming dedicated to a wide range of applications. Somos uma empresa de subcontratação especializada na fabricação de peças metálicas. Iniciámos atividade em 1998 e estamos localizados em Oiã, no Distrito de Aveiro. Produzimos componentes para a indústria automóvel e das duas rodas, do mobiliário metálico, da publicidade e da metalomecânica em geral, trabalhando materiais como o aço carbono, o inox e o alumínio.
