Quinta do Crasto, S.A. is a Portuguese company dedicated to Douro and Port wine production and which received Portuguese SME Leader status in 2015. Its headquarters is in Gouvinhas, in the municipality of Sabrosa in Northern Portugal. This is the heart of the Douro Valley, the first demarcated and regulated wine region in the world, recognised as a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 2001.
Quinta do Crasto benefits from exceptional conditions for producing wines and olive oils of the highest possible quality.Each year, Quinta do Crasto produces 1,400,000 bottles of Douro and Port wines. Twenty-five per cent is sold domestically and the rest is exported to around 40 markets worldwide, on all continents.
The last three years have witnessed the launch of one new wine per year. Crasto Superior Branco, a Douro DOC wine, came out in 2014, and Crasto Superior Syrah, a Regional Duriense wine, in 2015 – both were the fruit of innovation and were crafted to conquer new international markets.
A new Port wine is planned to be released this year. In addition to wines, Quinta do Crasto also produces 45,000 bottles of extra virgin olive oil yearly from its own organic groves in the area of Cima Corgo and Douro Superior.
Quinta do Crasto stands hands above the domestic market in terms of tourism as well. Quinta do Crasto is an estate that simply cannot be missed by those hoping to enjoy the Portuguese wine country. In 2015, the Quinta welcomed more than 3,500 visitors, mostly from Brazil and Europe and in the same year Trip Advisor, the world´s largest travel site, awarded the estate its Certificate of Excellence.
Each of these developments, allied with the passion of an entire team dedicated to seeking out the highest possible quality in wine and other products, have contributed to Quinta do Crasto’s growing national and international reputation.

Located in Sousela, in the municipality of Lousada, our facilities occupy an area of 42ha, including a large space with 4,000m2 of covered area. Adega de Redondo is well known in Portugal and worldwide, especially through the brand Porta da Ravessa, a name that has become a true ambassador for the quality and authenticity of Alentejo wines.
But besides this flagship brand, Adega de Redondo produces a diversified set of references, positioned among the market leaders in different price segments. Anta da Serra, AR, Real Lavrador, Maré Viva, Latitude or Longitude, are some of the main ones, having obtained numerous distinctions in national and international contests.
In an average year, the Adega de Redondo produces about twelve million liters of wine, 75% of which is red wine. Modern and well-equipped winemaking and bottling facilities allow the winery to take full advantage of the quality of the grapes received, under the supervision of winemaking director Mariana Cavaca.
The Portuguese market is the destination for the vast majority of the wines produced at Adega de Redondo, but increasing exports is a strategic goal to take our wines to the four corners of the world, currently representing 10% of global sales. France, Brazil, United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium and the United States are the main foreign markets.
Casa Vila Nova is owned by Lencastre family which descends from the royal Portuguese Lineage. The land has been in the family since the 12th century, and the only vestige of that time is an ivy-covered stone tower, now totally surrounded by Vila Nova (new house), that was built in the 1700´s.
Over the centuries, additions were made to the original Casa de Vila Nova and it's now a sprawling “Grand Home” filled with antique pieces.
In the late 1970's, the current owner Luís Lencastre starts out as a vinho verde producer. In 1986, the vineyards were totally reconverted and a new investment on machinery, equipment and agriculture resources were done. For the first time, in 2003, the grapes from Casa de Vila Nova vineyards were used in the production of vinho verde though keeping a residual sale of grape bulk. From then on, several vinho verde brands from Casa de Vila Nova were placed in the modern distribution and most recently in selected restaurants and hotels.

Quinta do Cume is a family-owned company dedicated to the production of Douro wines, located on the slopes of the historical village of Provesende, placed on the right bank of the Douro Valley.
Jorge Tenreiro and his wife Claudia Cudell have always been passionate about the Douro region, so it is of no surprise that Quinta do Cume, soon became their life’s work.

In Santa Marinha do Zêzere, Baião, in the southeast of the Demarcated Region of Vinhos Verdes, already in the heart of the Douro river valley, the Cazas Novas project was born, proposing a unique journey through the study and interpretation of one of the most exciting Portuguese white grape varieties - Avesso.
The name Cazas Novas is inspired by one of the centenary estates where the Cunha Coutinho family accumulates what is, in the heart of the Baião sub-region, the largest area dedicated to the growing of this Portuguese white grape variety. In total, a treasure of 24 hectares, concentrated in the area considered as an excellent stage for the expression of this very exclusive variety.
