Forno d’Asolo’s history in the production of frozen food specialities began in 1985 in Maser (Treviso) with the passion and enterprise of two brothers, Fabio and Paolo Gallina. Coming from a long time of bakers and with their extensive knowledge in the field of bread-making and pastry making, the two entrepreneurs took up a revolutionary challenge: to mass produce ready-to-bake frozen specialities with the quality and flavour of homemade products that have just been prepared and filled. Inventato da Dolfin negli anni Novanta, è diventato un prodotto di successo tanto da essere entrato nel linguaggio comune, come metafora di una sensazione diffusa di freddo. Today all 31 Prosciutto di San Daniele producers are members of the Consortium. The Consortium maintains the Product Specifications, monitors their correct application and protects the trademark Prosciutto di San Daniele and the distinctive symbols of the Protected Designation of Origin. It safeguards the typicality and characteristics of the product, regulates subjects of common interest for all parts of the production chain (breeding, slaughter, prosciutto-making), and undertakes activities of technical production standardization in all relevant sectors. The Consortium promotes through marketing and communication initiatives Prosciutto di San Daniele all over the world. Prosciutto di San Daniele is an Italian air-cured ham, and is well known all over the world by gourmet enthusiasts who appreciate its delicate and refined taste. Passion and attention goes into each and every part of the Prosciutto di San Daniele process. All meat originates from pigs born and bred in ten regions of central and northern Italy. Only sea salt is added to the meat from these Italian reared pigs, so it contains no artificial additives or preservatives. In crescita anche l’export internazionale, in mercati Europei come Inghilterra, Belgio Grecia ed extraeuropei come Usa, Canada, Israele e Australia. PASTA BERRUTO S.p.A. was born in December 2004 from the merger of two pasta factories ARRIGHI S.p.A. and ITALPASTA S.p.A., owned by the Berruto family. The Berruto family praises an age-long experience and tradition in the cereals market and pasta-making industry. With this merger, the Berruto Family intended to build a company with suitable dimensions for the current market needs. The company works with its brands and private labels mainly abroad (80% of its production) and it exports to more than 95 countries all over the world. In the Italian market the company supplies the supermarket chains both with its brands and private labels, cooperating with the most important domestic supermarkets. Pasta Berruto S.p.A. has had for many years a strategic commercial alliance in the African markets with the multinational Webcor Group (WWW.WEBCORGROUP.COM) which became a shareholder of the company in the year 2007. This partnership has increased the business opportunities both in the African and Middle Eastern markets. The company occupies an area of 50.000 m2 (14.000 of which are part of the building) and has a production capacity of 50.000 tons/year. The production department has 7 lines for the long, short and soup shapes, nests and special items. The packing department has been completely renovated with new generation machineries that successfully satisfy the new packaging requirements demanded by the market. The plants for the raw material income and the silos allow the processing and the mixing of different types of semolina. This guarantees that the quality of our products is continuously monitored and constant in accordance with the company’s parameters.

It was 1983 when Il Pastaio, the fresh egg pasta workshop in Villafranca, a typical production area a few kilometers from Verona and Lake Garda, was born. At this time production was on a small scale and sales took place within the confines of the surrounding area. The 1990s saw a great development, from a small artisan workshop it turned into a production plant with new technologies, new recipes but the same love and care for things done well. Starting in the 2000s, the production lines of Pastificio Armando De Angelis became 4, with 30 different types of products with certified quality: from the dough to the production processes. Armando De Angelis signature pasta becomes the 'fresh pasta that everyone likes'. Subsequently, the production plants increase to 2 and the lines become 9. Gluten Free, Bio, Bio Vegan lines are launched, in line with the culture of well-being and new consumer needs. In 2018 Armando De Angelis becomes De Angelis Fresh Pasta. The new positioning is born: ANIMA CREATIVA, which also involves rebranding activities. The Creative Laboratory is developed and research is strengthened. In 2021, "De Angelis Food Group" takes shape. A group of established Companies, already present in the Food&Beverage market, with the common goal of offering fresh, genuine and certified products to the market.
