Business and history of the company The Stratum Energy group of companies (“Stratum”) is in the business of international oil and gas exploration, development and in due course production. The Company’s goal is to search for, acquire and develop prospects with low risk exploration and commercially viable develop-mental potential. Stratum Energy was founded in 2005 by Qasim Sharif, a petroleum engineer, with extensive worldwide drilling experience from working in senior management positions for major inter-national oilfield service companies and large market cap E & P companies. Mr. Sharif’s efforts were rewarded in mid 2009 when he raised $3.6 mil in equity financing from the private placement of 10% of Stratum’s stock with an Indian investment company. Earlier, $0.5 mil was invested in the company by 3 private investors. The Company’s initial investment was in a farmout from Zeta Petroleum and later Lotus Petrol on the Bartin License in Turkey with Stratum ultimately accumulating 80% of the prospect. Subsequently, Stratum farmed out 30% of the prospect to an Indian investment company in exchange for development expenditures. In the past three years, Stratum has: 1 drilled the Bartin 2 exploratory well 2 drilled a sidetrack well using the Bartin 2 well 3 drilled a sidetrack well using the Bartin 1 well The company’s second investment was in mid 2008 with a farmout from Toreador Resources Corp. and later Lotus Petrol SRL for 100% of the Moinesti block in Romania. In the fall of 2009, Stratum, utilizing the equity proceeds mentioned above, re-entered, perforated and tested the Poduri 1 well. The well was originally drilled by TPAO in 2002, but never fully tested. The Poduri1 well flowed gas to the surface and has shown that there is significant hydrocarbon potential throughout the Moinesti Block. To fully exploit this potential, Stratum is looking to share the development costs by obtaining a farmout partner.

We know that the understanding, creativity, practical know-how, and relationships necessary to harness, drive and direct the goods of the industry come down to a very personal level. Our conferences are intentionally limited in size and focus on niche, but important, issues that have many “spokes”—connected parts, interests, and implications. Located at top resorts, we provide excellent hospitality and an atmosphere conducive to frank discussions, easy networking with industry leaders, broad context, and personal engagement. PetroHab, LLC, headquartered in Houston, Texas, manufactures, leases, sells, and maintains modular Hot Work Safety Enclosures (“HWSE”), often referred to in the Oil & Gas Industry as "habitats". In its pursuit of excellence and innovation, PetroHab™ has developed three distinct HWSE products that cater to varying onshore and offshore applications. These products include the PetroHabitat™ pressurized HWSE, specifically designed for use in classified hazardous areas; the PetroLite™ open or closed top, non-pressurized HWSE, designed to contain the sparks, splatter and glare from hot work operations; and the PetroShield™ HWSE, which is specifically designed to both contain the by-products of hot work and shelter personnel whilst performing hot work on pipelines. . Since sparks and molten materials can be scattered more than 35 feet during hot work related activities such as welding, cutting, grinding, chipping, and brazing, it comes as no surprise that hot work is a leading cause of industrial fires that result in damages in excess of $1,000,000 per incident. It is with the goal of mitigating such hazards that PetroHab was founded. Although each of PetroHab’s products are designed for specific applications, the modular and readily interchangeable panels of every PetroHab HWSE incorporate the following: Patent pending Quadra-Lock® panel interlocking technology; ANSI/FM 4950 certified silicone coated fiberglass fabrics capable of withstanding up to 1,500º F; Heavy welded D-Rings for enhanced suspension and/or tie-down capabilities; and Highly temperature resistant Kevlar® thread stitching. In the summer of 2000, a Bible ministry began whereby oilfield employees were be supplied with Bibles in the language of the country where they were sent. To date, over 250,000 Bibles have been hand-carried to 61 countries, in 30 languages. In September of 2003, John was inspired to create a custom-made oilfield Bible which he named “God’s Word for the Oil Patch, Fuel for the Soul.” Twelve months later, he and Bible supply chairman and drilling engineer Mike Chaffin had designed the first of its kind Bible specifically for the oil industry. Along with the two NLT Testaments, it contains 58 pages of testimonies and commentary from president to rig hands. (“In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.” PR 16:9) Iron Sharpens The scripture, “As iron sharpens Iron, so one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17 is more than fitting for the various ministries of the OCF in general and each chapter. From facilitating the first Oilfield Chapel in Big Piney, Wyoming , providing a new truck and trailer to take God’s Word and love into the fields around Wamsutter, Wyoming each day, intern appreciation luncheons, campus leadership forums, to the Oklahoma City chapter raising a quarter of a million dollars for the City Rescue Mission, God has truly inspired and used the OCF. A monthly newsletter is sent to nearly 4000 and each year a prayer breakfast is held in Houston during an oil conference, with as many as 900 in attendance and other breakfasts are being held around the country as well.

The Petroleum Engineer’s Club of Dallas (PECD) was founded in 1940 by a group of professionals who were, at that time, local members of the Petroleum Division, American Institute of Mining Engineers. These oil field professionals found the frequency of AIME meetings insufficient to meet their needs for the interchange of technical information and personal interaction. A bond was forged by a like-minded group in a casual and lighthearted social atmosphere where information and good humor could be shared. Early on, certain norms and traditions were developed and practiced in weekly lunch meetings held in downtown Dallas. Most of these traditions have survived to this day. Club rosters over the years have included the names of highly influential individuals in the industry. Over eighty years later, the PECD still regularly meets for lunch in downtown Dallas, Texas. The Club has broadened its makeup and now welcomes all persons in the energy industry, from engineers, geologists, geophysicists, landmen, accountants, attorneys, insurance representatives, and other specialists who identify their livelihood with energy development. Monthly meetings attract both members and guests, who share a meal, camaraderie, and witness a presentation from a noteworthy author or representative of a company making news in the world of energy. Members are affectionately referred to as “Doctors” out of respect for their expertise in the industry, and those who are called upon to make a presentation at a regular meeting have the title of “Doctor of Rhetorology” conferred upon them by the Board of Directors as a token of appreciation. The program is laced with traditions handed down from the organization’s founders and from all those who followed. Please consider the opportunity we offer you to speak to our “Doctors” and guests on a topic we know they will want to hear and discuss, as has been done for more than seventy years in meetings of the Petroleum Engineer’s Club of Dallas.
