Service description
A comprehensive 40-hour course designed to prepare law enforcement officers to safely and effectively respond to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises, including mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. This training emphasizes de-escalation, officer and public safety, and diversion from the criminal justice system when appropriate.
