StartUp Texas is a seed fund and accelerator program based in Brownsville, Texas, dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in the Rio Grande Valley. We partner with passionate leaders and visionary entrepreneurs, applying creativity, strategy, design, and data to re-invent businesses and drive growth. Our program, in collaboration with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and other key partners, provides intensive support to help startups scale and commercialize. We are committed to building a sustainable and inclusive ecosystem of entrepreneurship for the region.

StartUp Texas was founded in 2019 to address the needs of local entrepreneurs seeking capital and resources. Initially launched as an ideation pitch summit, it has evolved into a comprehensive accelerator program, offering intensive 8-12 week cohorts to businesses located in the Rio Grande Valley.

We offer a collaborative environment, connecting founders with industry experts, investors, and fellow entrepreneurs, all within the eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization. Our goal is to empower innovators and shape a thriving business landscape in the Brownsville community.
