Greensboro Bound is a nonprofit literary organization based in Greensboro, North Carolina, dedicated to connecting readers and writers.

We host the Greensboro Bound Book Festival, a free celebration of diverse voices and stories that brings authors, book lovers, and local readers together each spring.

Since its founding in 2017, Greensboro Bound has grown to become a vital part of the community, fostering a vibrant literary culture through year-round events and programming, engaging students, and supporting authors. We’ve hosted acclaimed authors like Roxane Gay, Nikki Giovanni, and Amor Towles, and continue to expand our reach and impact, promoting reading and civil public discussion across our region. Our mission is to foster an understanding of writing as a process that allows free expression, deepens critical thought, and helps sustain a culture of inquiry and delight that is open to all.
