DOCARE International is a US-based nonprofit organization providing sustainable healthcare and education to under-resourced communities around the world.

Since 1961, DOCARE has delivered high-impact ethical medical care through a dual-model approach that prioritizes both immediate relief and long-term wellness.

Our work focuses on Global Health Outreach Trips, providing acute care and public health initiatives in remote regions, and Health Education, offering preventative health education to patients on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and chronic condition management. We partner with local physicians and international NGOs to ensure our presence is ethical and sustainable, upholding the ‘DO’ in DOCARE with compassion and mentoring the next generation of healthcare leaders.

DOCARE was founded in 1961 by a group of osteopathic physicians who began flying their own small aircraft into remote regions of Mexico to provide care to the Tarahumara people. Today, we continue this legacy of service, driven by a commitment to innovation and compassion.
