S P C D C is a Dawson Creek, British Columbia-based non-profit organization dedicated to early intervention and childhood development services.

We partner with families to provide a range of programs and services, including Infant Development Program, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Pathology, and Supported Child Development Program. Our goal is to support children from birth to school entry age in reaching their full potential, focusing on areas such as self-care, communication, and motor skills.

Through our Family Navigator and other support programs, we connect families with the resources they need to thrive. We are funded through Ministry of Children and Family (MCFD), Northern Health, Province of BC Gaming funds, local businesses and individual donations. We believe in the power of early intervention and collaborative partnerships to build a brighter future for children and families in the South Peace region.

Our Preschool program prepares children for kindergarten through play-based learning, emphasizing pre-reading and writing skills. We also offer programs for children and youth with diverse needs, including respite and daily living support.
