Southern Idaho Sailing Outreach is a nonprofit organization based in Boise, Idaho, dedicated to providing sailing instruction and opportunities for youth in southern Idaho. We offer a range of sailing programs, from beginner to advanced, utilizing a fleet of RS Zest Sailboats, Lasers, and Boston Whaler coach boats at Lucky Peak State Park’s Spring Shores Marina. Our mission is to foster a love of sailing and water safety among young people, supported by strategic partnerships with local government and community organizations. We connect graduates to further sailing opportunities through our connections with the Southern Idaho Sailing Association.

We work closely with the City of Boise, Idaho State Parks, and the US Sailing Association to deliver impactful sailing experiences. Our programs are designed to build confidence, teamwork, and a respect for the environment. We are a vital part of the Southern Idaho community, providing accessible sailing education and promoting lifelong engagement with the sport.

Established in 2017, Southern Idaho Sailing Outreach has grown to serve over 200 students annually, demonstrating our commitment to expanding access to sailing in the region. We rely on community funding and volunteer support to continue our work.
