Life After PTSD is a non-profit organization based in Orlando, Florida, dedicated to healing invisible wounds and reducing the stigma associated with post-traumatic stress.

We believe that PTSD is an injury, not an illness, and our mission is to provide accessible tools and training to a wide range of individuals – from first responders and veterans to coaches and clergy – empowering them to become force multipliers in the lives of those struggling with trauma.

Our unique MESE (Managing Emotional States Effectively) Protocol offers a brief, adaptable, and limiting-exposure approach to emotional regulation, utilizing evidence-based memory re-consolidation techniques. We provide comprehensive training modules, including didactic education, a practical practicum, and ongoing video consultations, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Through our training programs and resources, we aim to create a positive impact on mental and emotional health, supporting individuals and communities in navigating the challenges of trauma and building resilience. We are proud to share stories of transformation, such as that of Mel Jenner, a 100-year-old WWII veteran who found relief after years of suffering.
