MMX is an investigational new drug formulation developed by CYGNOS BioTech for the treatment of oral canine malignant melanoma stages II & III. In vitro studies have shown that MMX inhibits cell proliferation in melanoma cells, and in vivo studies have demonstrated significant tumor reduction in affected canines. This represents a promising therapeutic approach for a prevalent and challenging cancer in dogs.
