Mizagliflozin is a first-in-class, oral, small molecule drug candidate that inhibits postprandial glucose absorption and reduces secretion of insulin and gastric inhibitory peptide (GIP). It is being developed for the treatment of post-bariatric hypoglycemia and gastroparesis.
