The New Jersey 5s are a premier Major League Pickleball (MLP) team based in New Jersey, founded in 2022 by Gary Vaynerchuk and Ryan Harwood.

Originally inspired by Gary’s childhood love of the New York Jets and the number 5, the team embodies a spirit of competition and sportsmanship, represented by their mascot, the Competitive Clown.

As the #1 team in 2024 Regular Season, The NJ 5s are returning for action in 2026, bringing excitement and innovation to the MLP Premier League.

The team’s success is built on a dedicated roster of talented players and a strong organizational structure, led by GM Ryan Harwood and Assistant GM Blake Padua.
