Greensboro Sports Council is a nonprofit organization based in Greensboro, North Carolina, dedicated to supporting sports events and fostering a thriving sports community.

Established in 1959, the Greensboro Sports Council initially formed as a support group for First Horizon Coliseum, providing essential hospitality and resources for events at the Greensboro Complex. Over time, the Council has evolved to become the ‘Official’ sports host and advocate for the entire Greensboro area, encompassing the City of Greensboro, Guilford County, and the State of North Carolina.

Today, the Greensboro Sports Council actively works to attract, recruit, and support a diverse range of sporting events and facilities, strengthening its vital role as a key bridge between business and sports interests.
