Alabama Military Stability Foundation

The Alabama Military Stability Foundation is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and protecting Alabama’s vital military communities, members, and installations. Established in 2011, the Foundation, in collaboration with the Alabama Military Stability Commission, proactively ensures the stability of Alabama-assigned Department of Defense resources through strategic evaluation and collaborative efforts. Operating within the defense and national security sectors, the Foundation focuses on retaining and strengthening Alabama’s military assets and infrastructure, preparing for potential Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) scenarios. With a Board of Directors representing key defense regions and a dedicated team, the Foundation provides crucial support to military families and fosters a thriving environment for Alabama’s military presence. Currently employing 2-10 individuals, the Foundation’s work directly impacts the state’s economy and national security posture.
