BCxA Texas Chapter (TCBCA)

BCxA Texas Chapter (TCBCA) is a Houston, Texas-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting building commissioning as ‘business as usual’ within the state. Founded in 2011 as a secession from the Southwest Region of the Building Commissioning Association (BCxA), the TCBCA serves a diverse community of commissioning providers, building owners, and contractors across Texas.

Our mission is to connect passionate members and foster a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality commissioning services. We achieve this through educational events, resources, and advocacy, working to establish commissioning standards and best practices throughout the built environment.

The Texas Chapter plays a vital role in advancing the BCxA’s Essential Attributes and driving the adoption of commissioning methodologies across the state. We are committed to supporting our members and contributing to a more sustainable and efficient built environment.

We currently have 3 staff members and serve a broad geographic area, including Houston, Austin, Dallas, and El Paso.
