Cleanroom Commissioning | BCxA Texas Chapter (TCBCA)
Service description
This presentation provides a comprehensive overview of cleanroom commissioning, focusing on the principles, design considerations, and performance requirements necessary to achieve and maintain controlled environments. Participants will explore what defines a cleanroom, including the architectural and engineering strategies that contribute to cleanliness. Key topics include airflow design—particularly unidirectional flow—particle control through HEPA filtration, air change rates, and the role of fan filter units. The session will also examine cleanroom classification systems (ISO and Grade), as well as differential pressurization and how to interpret Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) reports. Emphasis will be placed on coordination challenges throughout design, construction, and commissioning to ensure compliance with industry standards and operational success.
