Open Hearts Ministry

Open Hearts Ministry is a nonprofit organization dedicated to training individuals and communities to cultivate compassionate care and healing, particularly for those impacted by trauma and abuse. Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, we provide a unique curriculum – The Journey – that facilitates personal story exploration and equips participants to share their experiences with empathy and understanding. Our work extends globally, with training programs hosted in locations such as New Braunfels, Texas, and Istanbul, Turkey, and supported by a network of Journey leaders. We strive to embody the principles of restorative justice and spiritual growth, offering a path toward freedom and connection through shared vulnerability and grace.
