Our story begins in 1884 when an artisanal gelato maker of Neapolitan origins, Domenico Pepino, decided to move north, more precisely, to Turin. In addition to bringing his family of ice creamers, he brought all the tools, molds and materials for producing and packaging his cold pastry specialties. Within a few years, he opened an ice cream parlor. "Vera Gelateria Artigiana"​ - True Artisanal Gelato - served as the slogan, and it soon became the symbol of Turin's greatest cold pastry. On June 17, 1916, Domenico Pepino sold the brand and manufacturing secrets, for the important sum of 10,000 lire, to Com. Giuseppe Feletti, already a well known and established industrial chocolate manufacturer, and his son in law Com. Giuseppe Cavagnino. By always maintaining high standards of quality, innovating, constantly renewing the product line, Gelati Pepino has received 4 Coats of Arms, between 1910 and 1932, making it the real gelato "Supplier of the Royal House"​ 1939 was a pivotal year in the company's history. After a long period of experimentation and study, Gelati Pepino finally patented and marketed the first gelato in the world to be served on a stick covered by chocolate: Pinguino® - the Penguin - (Patent No. 58033). At that time, a Pinguino® cost 1 Lira – the same as the cinema. The success of the Pinguino® remains incredible: the original recipe stands the test of time and the care put into producing the Pinguino® make it a gelato imitated all around the world.

The winery has studied and researched its terroir, Irpinia – the central part of Campania, which is historically well-suited to growing vines of the highest quality. Today, Feudi works over 300 hectares of vineyards fragmented in over 800 plots which differ in altitude, exposure and slope. Each parcel is specifically studied and vinified to magnify Irpinia diversity potential and allow the creation of its extraordinary crus. With over 30 million euros in turnover, very solid brand awareness and export to more than 50 countries around the globe, Feudi is the leading winery in southern Italy. Established by the Bacchini family in 1980 as a small artisanal workshop, they successfully introduced the wholesomeness of their products on an industrial scale, arriving at producing 135 tonnes of fresh pasta, 60,000 single-portion ready meals and 8 tonnes of sauces in cubes every day, engaging over 340 employees. Twenty-nine lines that produce traditional Italian recipes are active on a surface area of 60,000 square metres (of which 30,000 square metres of covered production area), with special attention to the conservation process, which does not include any additives, but just the application of cold technology: the products are prepared with the same care with which they would be made at home and immediately chilled in order to keep the flavours and nutritional properties intact. The first decade of the XXI century has been quite eventful, in 2003 we completely revamped our production plant and in 2007 opened our first Bottega, in via Lagrange, Turin. In 2008 we presented two beloved creations: the N’Uovo (designed by Pininfarina) and the sea salt Cremino which won the prize as best praline in the world at the Academy of Chocolate of London. 2010 was the year we first arrived in Milan, with our first Bottega in Corso Garibaldi. We continued our growth with the opening of the Bottega at Turin International Airport in 2014. In the very same year, we started the Chontalpa Project in collaboration with Slow Food (https://www.guidogobino.it/en/chontalpa/). Three years later we went into orbit with Paolo Nespoli for mission VITA of the Italian Space Agency (https://www.guidogobino.it/chocolate-5/). Always in 2017, the Bottega in Via Lagrange 1 celebrates its 10th birthday and for the occasion, we present Tourinot N.10®. 2019 marks the beginning of our partnership with Armani / Dolci and the opening of our second Bottega in Milan. During 2020 we have published the book "5 grammi di felicità".

Era il 1970 quando papà Carmelo fa dell’amore per la propria terra un business vincente, avviando con la moglie Ida un’avventura imprenditoriale che porta nel 2000 alla nascita del marchio Agromonte e dell’omonima azienda. He was the first user of a special ingredient, which would become very successful in the following years: sourdough. When Nicola Milano in 1889 started producing vinegar, he had a clear vision of the quality of the product. His son Andrea, who gave the name to the firm, continued his father’s work from the teachings he received. Even then, vinegar was the result of the harmonious mixture of the raw materials, the devotion of the artisan and the fitting technology. Since 1889, the vinegar factory Andrea Milano has refined the techniques of production without ever losing sight of the great Italian wine tradition. The first beech chipboard barrels have been replaced by modern acetifying machines, but nothing of the heritage of tradition and experience, matured over the last 100 years, had been sacrificed.
