L'azienda è operativa a Volvera in provincia di Torino in uno stabilimento di circa 1000 mq.
La Lifra si occupa di lavorazioni e costruzioni meccaniche per conto terzi, utilizzando fresatrici e alesatrici a CNC e torni tradizionali visualizzati ed è in grado di soddisfare le esigenze di clienti che hanno necessità di eseguire lavorazioni meccaniche di fresatura di precisione fino a una lunghezza di 4000 mm.
L'azienda inoltre è in grado di gestire la programmazione di profili complessi grazie all'ausilio di un software cad-cam SPRUTCAM V12 e all'utilizzo dei software cad FUSION 360 ,RHINOCEROS V5 e AUTOCAD LT 2021.

Il costante sviluppo e la ricerca di innovazioni tecnologiche hanno portato l'azienda ad ampliare la propria visione e ad acquistare anche una Stampante 3D Markforged modello Mark Two per coadiuvare la produzione e sostituire alcune lavorazioni grazie alla tipologia di fibre utilizzabili ( fibra di vetro, vetroresina, Kevlar e carbonio ) che conferiscono ai particolari stampati, nel caso della fibra continua di carbonio, una durezza superiore a quella dell'alluminio ( Lega 6061-T6 ). La tecnologia di stampa 3D ci permette di ottenere una riduzione in termini di costi e tempi di consegna nella prototipazione rapida rendendoci così competitivi sul mercato.

Founded over 94 years ago, Officine Meccaniche Torino (O.M.T. S.p.A.), has served engine builders with dependable, high quality fuel injection equipment from the early days of large diesel engine development.
In the intervening years, OMT's know-how and technology have always kept pace with the demands of builders and end users of low and medium speed engines and the evolution of the marine propulsion, power generation, gas compression and rail traction markets.
In particular, as a fully integrated producer, OMT has regularly invested a high percentage of its revenues in fuel injection research and the production facilities needed to produce the high quality and on-time deliveries demanded by its customers.
The overall result is a range of dependable, high technology fuel injection systems for a full range of distillate and heavy fuels. Significantly, in the present phase of emissions-dominated engine development, OMT fuel injection systems are enablers of cleaner, more efficient diesel and dual-fuel combustion for emissions compliant engines with optimised fuel efficiency and maximised power density. Testifying to this success, OMT has gained certifications from the leading international quality assurance authorities, including all the most important marine classification societies.

TME is an Italian Mechanical Workshop specialized in the production of components for Mud Pumps, Drawworks, Crown and Travelling Block, Top Drive and miscellaneous components for drilling/rig site.
Engineering, Milling and Turning, Carpentry and Assembly departments in house.
The aim of TME was provide to the customers a single interface that could follow all the activities starting from the engineering to the finished product.
TME during the years became strong and powerful in the production of components for Mud Pumps, Drawworks, Crown and Travelling Block, Top Drive and other components related to the drilling.
To do that and to guarantee high quality standard TME achieved the API certification for 6-A, 7-1, 7K, 8C and Q1.
After the achievement of the API, TME start to make its own product

Nel 1987 iniziano i primi lavori per il Petrolchimico Gelese (ANIC Gela) e la Amarù comincia ad affermarsi anche nel settore della manutenzione di macchine rotanti e alternative.
Cominciano ad arrivare commesse da tutto il comprensorio e la Amarù sottoscrive il primo contratto quadro con il petrolchimico di Gela che nel frattempo diventa Praoil Spa, società del gruppo Eni. L’innovazione e la formazione sono stati due colonne portanti della Amarù che negli anni 2000 investe in un nuovo settore: la costruzione di pompe ad anello liquido. Grazie ad un agreement con una società della provincia di Lecco, la Finder Pompe Spa, la Amarù entra di fatto nel mercato della produzione di pompe con una capacità produttiva di 300 pompe l’anno. Un importante accordo con Nuovo Pignone di Firenze gli permette di varcare i confini italiani e operare anche all’estero. Si aprono le porte dell’Europa: Germania
