GainTools Cloud Backup Tool is a Windows-based tool that enables users to back up emails from IMAP-supported cloud and webmail accounts to a local computer. It works with all the main email services including Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Office 365, Hotmail, AOL and G Suite. Users can save mailbox data in several formats including PST, MBOX, EML, EMLX, MSG, HTML, MHTML, and PDF as per their requirements. The application has options for selective backup so that users can save just certain folders like Inbox, Sent Items, Drafts, Outbox, and custom folders instead of downloading the full mailbox. It secures important email components such as the message body, headers, attachments, formatting, and folder hierarchy. The application has a straightforward user interface and allows users to manually set up their IMAP server. The application also adds accounts that are not on the server by providing their email credentials and IMAP hostname and port settings. Multiple IMAP accounts can be backed up individually and the resulting files can be saved to a user-defined local directory. The Cloud Backup Tool is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8 and 7.
