Borealis is a not-for-profit remote work program based in Anchorage, Alaska, offering a two-month cohort-based experience for young professionals.

Borealis provides a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the Alaskan culture and community, living in a furnished townhouse-style condo just minutes from downtown Anchorage. Participants will integrate into the Anchorage community on day one, making new friends and exploring the region’s diverse offerings.

This program is designed to foster connections, provide access to a vibrant coworking space, and facilitate curated group activities, from backcountry retreats to local arts and cultural experiences. Borealis launched with a pilot cohort in summer 2025, and is currently on pause until long-term housing is secured.

The program cost is $2,795 per month for a single participant in a two-bedroom unit, or $1,995 per month for a unit of four sharing a two-bedroom.
