Young Fathers of Central Florida is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young fathers under 24 years old in Orlando, Florida.

We provide comprehensive programs, including dad-to-dad mentoring, city-wide initiatives, and parenting support groups, designed to empower these young men to actively participate in their children’s lives and strengthen their communities.

Our approach centers on addressing the unique challenges faced by often-overlooked young fathers, offering a vital support system and resources to foster positive family outcomes. We strive to prevent adolescent fathers from becoming parents until they are ready, and to increase educational and vocational opportunities for those in need.

Founded in 2006 by Haki Nkrumah, a veteran, educator, and family mediator, Young Fathers of Central Florida is committed to building stronger families and communities across Florida.
